Impromptu USPS update from local PO

I thought you guys might find this interesting and/or useful.

On dropping off my daily packages, I casually asked a post office clerk if they are "doing OK, given all the stuff that's going on."

She said, "they haven't even made it to California yet. They started in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and the East."

What she was saying is that nothing the Postmaster General has done has affected her post office or even California at all. She said "he didn't make it this far". She also said she doesn't have any inside information at all, and that she and other post office staff only know what they see on the news.

I immediately thought of politics. How interesting that CA would be pointless to mess with. Nothing anyone could do would change how CA is going to vote. So, nothing happened here. Or at least it was not first on the list. Ohio and PA, on the other hand, are battleground states. If you needed votes (by suppressing other votes), this is where you would want to start.

Anyway, just a little "light news" about our Democracy to cheer everyone up on a Thursday evening.

Yes, DeJoy seems to be targeting swing states.

Had he started in California and Minnesota he'd have been targeting Democratic states. Good thing he rolled the dismantling/overtime back till after the election.

stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye   Wouldn't want his  decisions to be "TALKING POINTS"

Yes, and targeting Democratic states is pointless...when the goal is voter suppression. For that, you go where it matters.

Exhibit 1: OH & PA

Impromptu USPS update from local PO

I read an article today, where a small company had to switch from USPS to FedEx, due to the damage caused by Dejoy: Trump's wrecking ball.

The article stated that the referred company normally used USPS for 75% of their shipping and they used FedEx for about 25% of their shipping. But due to so many delays in deliveries and the ensuing issues because of it, they switched to FedEx , in other words that percent is now reversed.

They said it wasn't like that until Dejoy made the changes in USPS.

And by the way, they said they ship-out about 30k items yearly, on the average. I know that's not a lot, but?

I don't know why the "plain, everyday ole" Trump followers try so hard to defend the Dejoy scandal, I mean seriously, no one can be so foolish that they fail to recognize what and why.

So, why don't they just come out of the shadows and say it, I mean who are they trying to convince, themselves?

I guess maybe they're worried about their hair, you know, gotta be all pretty and perfect, well, for God sake, I'm man and my hair ain't gotta be all pretty and such, so let's me help the wannabe girls, out a bit and tell it like it is:

H**l yeah, our "arrrr" man(?) Trump trough the Dejoy wrecking ball down on y'all a**'s, to snuff-out your d**n votes, so what; what ya gonna do about it? Huh?

"This is not a political forum sooo take it elsewhere."

Be what it may, for I'm merely addressing the issues of shipping and receiving, in which is a big part of ecommerce, therefore it's a major concern for sellers and buyers.

I like honesty, and I'm sorry if that upsets you, but please don't let it bother you, just skip right on by the posts that might have a bit of political overtones in 'em. And just a note, the current administration put the politicalness in it.

I hope the USPS can recover, and shipping and receiving will return to normal. But I believe it'd be best for Dejoy to resign: he shouldn't been appointed as the PMG to start with, there're too many conflicts of interest concerning him, plus he is a major contributor to Trump's reelection efforts, and that in itself is the worse conflict of interest.

So, I'm very sorry that there're political perplexities in the matter; and if you may or might, please just skip by those types of posts, if they're too much for you to deal with.
