Import charges

Why are we still being charged import charges? I thought July 1 2020 ...all import/duty charges between the US and Canada were free for purchases under $150???

Are you purchasing from a seller who uses the Global Shipping Program?  Those import charges also includes the charges that Pitney Bowes charges.

I would like to know that also if you find out.  Shipping to Canada seems unreasonably high, and I am located in Washington State.  I don't know if it is postage or taxes.

Import charges should be $0 now under $110us so my guess is GSP pockets it now for "their service", or pays it even though they don't have too.  It's funny now, sometimes when I go to buy something for $24 or so shipping jumps up  a few dollars. Watch out for that one. After item, shipping and other charges it is no longer a deal. I can see why some sellers get mad when the buyer goes dark after sale. After buyer sees the total , he hangs up.
