Impatient buyer wants to open case because eCheck refund isn't clearing fast enough.

Exactly as title says, I've issued this buyer a refund through PayPal's partial refund system and we're waiting for it to clear, as all eChecks always have.

But since it's not instant they're saying they will open a case against me, and not are trying to return the full refund of my item, while keeping what was sold, WHILE also keeping the partial refund.

I'm livided and afraid of this situation, I even sent more than the partial amount we agreed to to keep a happy customer. To potentially lose that much money over someone being impatient would be absolutely devastating, it's quite literally my food money for a week.

What can I expect?

Did they open a return case before you sent them the partial refund?  If so, just accept the return so they have to send it back.  If they didn't open a return, do nothing at all.  It is best to keep some money in your account to deal with such situations when they occur.
