How do I get ebay to review a negative feedback from an impatient buyer who returned an item and could not wait for the refund to be posted to her financial institution? (says she cant find the refund but its only been 2 days) I sent her in a seperate transaction through paypal enough to cover shipping both ways and that is the only transaction she can see. Ebay has since closed the return and sent her an email advising her that they did refund the original purchase price. She is upset and evidently couldnt wait and assumed she wasnt getting all her purchase price back. I did call ebay to track the refund (is how I know it was suppose to go back to her financial institution not paypal)?

If there were no delays on your part to get the refund to her and the feedback says something related to the refund in the neg, they might remove that for you. Call them and go over that with them.

This hat? http://www.ebay.com/itm/ANTIQUE-VINTAGE-BOY-039-S-LEATHER-AVIATOR-HAT-CAP-/152687478217?nma=true&si=... Why would you refund in a separate transaction and not through the original one? And why would you cover both ways? What did the buyer say was the problem?

I don't understand this either. Why would you do this?

Clarification... I was contacted by the buyer after ebay closed the refund and she was upset that she only was receiving the cost of the item itself without being reimbursed for shipping. But she did not actually recieve the refund yet because it was being credited to her financial institution which has yet to show in her account... Doing the right thing I sent the shipping charges she paid. But because she still could not see the original cost of the item ebay was crediting her she left negative feedback. ("Only received partial refund") The refund transaction was already closed so I could not just "refund" her...

Why did ebay 'close the return' and only refund the purchase price? Why did ebay close the return at all and not you in which case you could have refunded original shipping?
Your situation isn't making much sense. Perhaps if you explain the circumstances of this return and WHY was the buyer returning your item in the first place?

Ebay will only remove the feedback, if it's against their policies. If they don't feel that it's over the line, they will not remove it. They say that it's the "buyer's opinion", so unless it's over the line, regardless if it's false or inaccurate information in the feedback, you will be forced to ride out the negative feedback.

Normally, I would say just don't worry about it, but as a low total feedback seller, this neg dropped your score to 97%. I was going to suggest that you wait a sufficient time to allow her to receive confirmation of the full refund and to cool off a bit. Then, you could approach her in a super conciliatory manner about the possibility of her revising her feedback.
But, then I noticed your response to her feedback:
Impatient did not wait for ebay to post refund to financial institution(2-5days)
So, forget that. She's not going to agree to a revision.
