I bought a bike from Huffy I sent them 5 messages regarding shipping nothing no response! I don't want it anymore! How can a company or seller ignore customers??

They quoted a recieved date I won't receive it for a week later I always buy items by the quoted dates usually because they are gifts. You'd think it's a corporation there should be trust?

Has the bike been shipped already? Why do you think it will be arriving a week later than original estimated delivery date?

eBay is responsible for estimated delivery dates. Sellers have no control over the date shown to buyers.

And it's just an estimate. Delays happen frequently and eBay estimates are often too short. If you want a guarantee then you need to contact the seller and see if they are willing to offer a shipping service that guarantees delivery dates.

Good info to be aware of as we head into the holiday shopping season where shipping delays are the norm.

It appears you ordered the bike on October 2nd. The listing has a 3 biz day handling time which is today, October 5th.

Did the seller tell you the order was delayed or are you making an assumption that it hasn't shipped yet?

They're selling large quantities of that bike. They may not have uploaded tracking, but that doesn't mean they haven't shipped yet.

I'll echo PJ's question: why do you believe it was delayed by a week if the seller has not responded to your 5 messages (in 3 days - that's a lot)?

Huffy is no longer a USA maker

they used to be one of the last UAW makers in the USA

anyways they have horrible feedback

they have a 3 day shipping window which maybe you did not see

you purchased from a slow shipper with excessive handling time

how can a buyer like you not figure out just how impatient you are

it did not need to be shipped until October 5 which is 3 days handling time

There are bad sellers and good sellers on eBay just like everywhere else,

If you order gifts online order early (like 4 to 6 weeks early at least) just in case item is defective or

shipping is delayed

example: Ordered cd first week in September estimated delivery date September 16 - 21

guess when it finally showed up yesterday October 5th. Delays happen occasionally deliveries are lost or stolen by porch pirates, or it arrives, and it is not as described, and you cannot gift the item, so you have to return it it and buy another gift it happens

Buying from reliable sellers with great feedback history is a good way to ensure you will get what you ordered and learning to vet the sellers you do business with is important and /i have to agree with @1tunatuna your seller has terrible feedback you really should have purchased the bike from another seller.

Interested to know how you know you "won't receive it for a week later". I assume you know what you can do if you've not received it within a few days past the last estimated delivery date.

They gave me a receipt time wich to me is a contract it's not about being impatient it's about the quoted agreement about receipt it was purchased as a gift with the understanding it would be he by the 8 the it's not going to arrive for 5 days after. Thanks for your insulting reply I did read the policy I also read the reviews before buying said fast shipper deception very deceiving.

Thank you for your reply I thought I was buying this item directly from Huffy. This is what I read. That's why I purchased it. It says Huffy corp. As seller reviews all said fast shipper . They gave me a time frame wich I accepted, then to change it twice? I contacted them. No response. I'll accept this bike only because shipping it back is more than bike is worth it's principal not patients. I did larn valuable life lession. Again I'm not impatient just a consumer advocate. If a company says it will be here between dates given it should be here!! not 5 days after latest date. There are reasons dates are given. If the date arent going to be acknowledge. Than to me this is deception to get you to buy. Illegal again than you.

I'm a buyer of many things. I track Everything I have a business to run this item was a gift but I purchase things daily for my business which things I buy are usually time sensitive to buyers from me. I have to track I qoute people delivery times based on my reception I loose business if I'm late. this package is supposed to be due tomorrow it's been getting a tour of California still in California as we speak. was shipped two days ago.

If you notice on the dates, it says estimated, it doesn't say you'll receive the item on this date.

The bike is due today still in California hasn't move much I buy and ship things everyday the reason for me contacting seller was to see if 1 I could upgrade before shipment then the when window was shining for shipping time to make sure it was going to be here in time. It looks like I'm being impatient I am to a degree I'm tired of buying things told you'll have it between dates and boom they don't come for at least a week later. Like I said it's due today not here. That's a contract when you quote a date this purchase was a child's gift now child has to return home empty handed because contract wasn't upheld I did my part I agreed to pay and pay immediately I did because of a promise to have here between certain dates.
