If I only want to offer international shipping for a few hundred items

If you decide to join the Ebay international shipping program do you have to offer this for all of your listings ?  I have thousands of listings and really only want to offer this (to start) on a few hundred listings.  Here's the reason:   most of my listings do not have weight & dimensions information... media mail qualifies them by under 1lb, 1-2lbs, 2-3lbs etc so flat rate shipping within the US has been easy.

So my idea is to weigh 300 hundred items and see how it goes.   Is there any way I can disable all of my listings for intl shipping except for those 300 ?     From everything I'm reading, it appears you've got to be all-in ...offer this to every one of your listings or it's a no-go.   Do I have that right ?

Thx for any advice

Yes, all items 'that are allowed' to be 'shipped' (used auto parts, for 1, are not) will be in EIS; but then you can 'bulk edit' any items you don't want to ship internationally and 'exclude' all the continents' although.......

There is NO reason to do that. EIS covers ANY returns, covers ALL refunds (out of THEIR pocket). They will 'choose' which items they will cover (as there are $$ amount max, size/weight max etc.)

One last thing, you need to be sure the Weight & Dimensions are ACCURATE so EIS knows what you charge a customer. You cannot say it's 15oz and 10x7x7 and then ship a 10 lb item in a 18x12x12 box.

Thanks for the reply...  I tried contacting Ebay about this and got a different response from them... so confusing.  The rep said once you decide to go with EIS you are all in.   Yes, you can specify which countries you do/don't want to ship to but there is no disabling global shipping for specific items.  As I said, I have thousands of items so the very first thing I would want to do after signing up with EIS is disable about 90% of my listings for only shipping within the US only.  The rep said this could not be done under current settings but it was a valid request and he would submit this to Ebay.  Unfortunately EIS is not something I can experiment around with.... once you opt in to EIS it takes 24 hours to opt out, which is why I'm being careful...
