We received the following message - "Hi, I have not received my purchase yet. I ve checked everywhere even with my neighbors & no one has seen itI don t want to get eBay involved so please do something to take care of this. Thanks"

So i went and checked the tracking on the item and it shows delivered to the mailbox 11 days ago.   Then i went and looked at the buyers feedback.  She is a relatively new buyer (46 feedback) but has left numerous bad feedbacks.  The most recent is a negative feedback for another seller claiming the same thing as she is with me - and the seller responded saying they have provided her with suggestions.

The item sold was inexpensive,  but i am just not sure how to handle it.  I know that technically we have fulfilled our obligation (tracking proves that) but i don't want a negative feedback. On the otherhand based on her feedback to others it seems like she frequently does this so feeding into it isn't right.   Suggestions?

So you feel i should let her continue to do this to sellers? Her feedback shows she has done this several times (claimed INR when seller has tracking to prove otherwise). Its really not about the money at this point.

You may need to call ebay to close the case in your favor.

Yes this 100%. @gotitinpdx Call customer service and get the case closed in your favor now. Uploading tracking showing delivery to the buyers zip is NOT guaranteed to make you win, unfortunately. The BOTS that handle cases DO get it wrong on INRs. It sounds like the buyer either has an issue her with mail carrier or with package theft and that is HER problem not yours. Even if this was a 99cent sale, she needs to know that this is HER problem and she needs to fix things on HER end instead of expecting her sellers to take the hit & refund her. Refunding her would be a nice gesture, sure, but evidently there is a PROBLEM on her side whether its what I said above or if she's just a coniving thief and refunding her will only encourage her to continue to do this. Enabling her does NO ONE but HER a favor.

Wrong guess!

WHY???

It was delivered. This is one of the few cases that sellers can win no questions asked.

So after i uploaded tracking to the INR claim, i decided i would call eBay in the morning. But now the buyer sent this -

"I HAVE NOT GOTTEN WHAT I PAID FOR IF AS YOU SAY, THAT I RECEIVED A PACKAGE, IT WAS NOT WHAT I PAID YOU FOR!"

Now she seems to be claiming she may have gotten it but it wasn't what she bought sort of....so confused?

LOL, the package fairy always seems to deliver after the message to the buyer with the tracking showing delivered. Should we not give the package fairy a small fee for her magic?

I wouldn't read to much into that message just yet, but I would call eBay sooner rather than later and have this closed.   Until then, the buyer may have a chance to convert the case.

I had a buyer do this to me once and then opened a NAD in Paypal claiming empty box.  They won.

Ignore and call eBay to close the case before they say some in those messages that might prevent that.

Hurrah!!! Looks like the buyer tried to "kiss me once, Kiss me twice, come on pretty baby kiss me deadly" . Hope you blocked them. Oh and check you Pay Pal account for a backdoor chargeback after this. Upload the tracking again if that happens. It shoud get closed again.
