I was Invoiced $220 for shipping charges on a 30lb item

I was recently invoiced $220 dollars for Fedex shipping through Ebay for a Yeti Tundra 65. The cooler was sold for $325 before the fees and shipping. It  was shipped from Minnesota to Kansas. It weighed 30lbs and The Outside Dimensions: 30.625” L x 17.25” W x 16” H. How does this come out to $220!!!  I feel really cheated and scammed. How do I dispute this?

Were you not shown the shipping cost before you bid or bought the item?

What service did you select?

I just did a quick calculation and for that size and weight it would be $218.47 for FedEx 2 Day. Regular FedEx ground was $49.80.

If you selected the wrong service that is your fault, not theirs.

And as mentioned above, you would have / could have seen those prices BEFORE you bought the label.

Ummmmmm, the listing I see shows free shipping ... there is no cost of shipping.  If they are asking for an additional $220, you don't have to pay it.

Regardless, with FedEx it would cost about $25-30 to ship that item (30#, 31x18x16)  from Minnesota to Kansas.

Try contacting Ebay through chat or Facebook.  It looks like you're the seller, can you just ship through another method?  It just says free shipping.  So you don't really have to use Fedex.    USPS or UPS economy would be much much cheaper.

When I click the shipping method it says "Standard Shipping: Fed Ex Ground"... don't 2-day it!
