I recently bought a $220 laptop off eBay. When I tested the laptop I discovered that it partially worked, but it had an issue with the motherboard. So, that day I packed it up and shipped it back to the seller. The seller recieved the item and claimed that I had torn the warrenty sticker, tampered with the motherboard, and they said the laptop doesn't work at all anymore. All of the aformentioned claims are false (unless something happened durring shipping that caused it to not work anymore), but I have no way of proving it. Anyway, eBay denied my claim and now just lost $220 dollars. Is there any way I can get my money back?

Best solution is credit card chargeback if that's how you paid, giving the reason: Merchandise returned, credit not received. Gets a provisional refund same day or the next day.
Other option is PayPal significantly not as described dispute, escalated immediately to a claim, then provide the delivered return tracking number. Gets a refund in 11 days.

WOW... I can't believe they sided with the seller for once but they never do when they actually should.
Sorry this happened to you.
The advice about paypal or credit card charge back is spot on.
