For some reason contacting Ebay seems to be completely impossible since my situation does not fit any of their options. Today I received an item and all I have to go off of is the return address. I have received everything in my orders that says delivered and then today got some random Harley Davidson Jacket I absolutely did not order. I don't know if I was charged for it and I can't figure out who the seller is if this is a mis-shipment. Help!

Sell it.

Is there anything in with the jacket?
Is there a name on the return address?

I don't think I should have to sell it, and would like to know if it's in place of something else. Would sure be nice if they put the seller name in the package. There is a return address. Her name is Catherine Guiterrez but no idea of Ebay Username.

That should be easy enough to figure out. Look at the account(s) that you normally pay for things with.

Ummmm.... you don't have to sell it.
It is a gift and you are free to do with it as you wish.
I would sell it and pocket some free cash.

In place of something else? You said you received all your other orders.
Just keep it. If someone contacts you about it and wants for you to return it at their expense, you can if you want. But you don't have to.

I have several things on order, and lots of items I have not yet received... but I do not have anything else that I have an email saying "Delivered on". Just a window a time that could be today through next week. Usually I do get an email when the item was delivered though.

Do a search on Harley Davidson Jacket, then click on "Sold" (in the list of links on the left-hand side of the search results page). Sort by "Nearest first," using the ZIP Code that was on the return address. Does anything look familiar?

Its not a gift, its a mistake. Its called unjust enrichment in a court of law. Look it up Sam. If a car dealership delivers a car to you by mistake, trust me, you dont get to keep it. If your bank sends you a check for 10K through the mail, you dont get to keep that either. Tons of precedence on it. Mistakes happen. You dont get to benefit from it. The rule you are getting its a gift from is only in reference to merchandise that is intentionally sent , unordered, and then billed for. In the 80's there were many companies sending unordered items to companies and then threatening to send them to collections if the company didnt pay.
To the OP, do the best you can to see if you can figure it out. If you cant, well you cant. I would do what I can then set it aside for a period of time to see if it shakes loose. After that? Do what you want with it. I would certainely allow some time for the seller to figure out their package went wayward.

I guess I'll have to get the Monopoly Game out and remove all of those "Bank Error In Your Favor" cards!
