I'm curious if other customers are having similar issues with USPS. I ordered an item from Michigan in late May, I live in ohio and I had the seller combine shipping on two items. Considering all that was going on, I wasn't surprised when the package was a few days late, as the time increased, the seller opened a case, where she was told the package has been halted due to plant closures, and I would receive the package, but nobody could tell me when. I opened another, separate case myself after the first was closed and received one voicemail saying that the USPS associate working my case would check up on it frequently - I never received any follow-up and the case was closed a few days after having received that voicemail. I made that case, because AFTER I had purchased the item from the michigan seller, I had also purchased items from another seller, all the way from california, and THAT package arrived in 4 days, despite 'plant closures'. I live in Ohio, so, I could've drove to michigan and picked the item up 10times over already.
Frustrated too with USPS's site, anytime I go to open a another case, the system refreshes and won't let me into the form page. So, as ya'll could imagine, I'm pretty annoyed with USPS. One part of me wants to let it go, the items were 15$. The other part of me wants to file complaint after complaint until its found. idk what to do at this point.

There was no need for you to deal directly with USPS at all. The seller is responsible for getting the item into your hands. Under eBay's buyer protection policy (which they call the "Money Back Guarantee"), you are entitled to a full refund. Unfortunately, the deadline for filing a claim under this policy is 30 days after the latest estimated delivery date.

Others are having problems, but it seems to be isolated ... there have been a few USPS processing centers that have caused headaches for lots of people.
Though normally I would say that the package should eventually get delivered, your delays are really extreme. You have 6 months since the date of purchase to file an Item Not Received claim with PayPal (since your window has closed on eBay). If you should do this, get refunded, and the item arrives at some point in the future, then keep the seller's email address so that you can repay them.

I'm just going to let it go.
I don't want to inconvenience the seller who is also out items by asking for a refund. And paypal is a pain to deal with. I'll just wait and see if they arrive, and if they don't than it is what it is.
The item had a tracking number and was scanned at a different transferred location, but it's seemed to have disappeared so, that's why I went through USPS opposed to ebay, I had assumed USPS would then have the information I was looking for.

I ship alot of media mail items and with teh infloux of internet shopping and amazon shipments with fewer passenger airlines flying to move parcels, everything is running slow it seems with a few exceptions. Remember almost everything on amazon was 2 day shipping, now I don't even know if it's offered and most items have moved to 3-5 day shipping. So the lower the class of shipping, means the slower and in some cases snail paced speed the delivery will take. I have seen it with alot of my items going out and some i have bought and had shipped in. Think about it. More packages in a smaller supply chain so you have 2 problems to combat. Fortunately most of my customers understand, though I have gotten bad feedback because of the speed of the USPS. I tell them, look at the shipping date. Once I drop it off, it's out of my control. Please rate it on my performance no the USPS.
