Hello,
I recently bought a iPod touch here on eBay. I ordered it on Sunday, May 10 using a Guest session. I have not yet received a shipping e-mail. It is now Tuesday, May 12. When will I receive such e-mail, and how long does the seller have to ship my device?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Though it is rare, you may not ever get that email ... it just depends on how the buyer ships and/or updates tracking information.
There is also no way to know what the buyer's handling time might be. So, the only thing you can do is to wait for updates or wait on the package to be delivered. There is a delivery date associated with the purchase ... if it doesn't arrive by that date, then you can file an Item Not Received claim.

Sometimes on listings, there is mention of handling time, some sellers do not mention it at all. I ordered something awhile back and the seller took over a week and a half to ship. This was not mentioned in her listing either and I ended up filing an item not received because I couldn't believe it would take that long to ship something. I finally heard back from the seller and was told she shipped it 2 days ago. My item was then lost in the mail.
I've sold and bought on eBay since the late 90s and can count on one hand the number of times I actually didn't receive an item. So try not to worry. Double-check the listing see if the seller mentions a handling time. If not all you can do is wait till your item doesn't arrive on the expected date set by eBay. You can then file an Item Not Received dispute.
