I have shipping time correct, but eBay doesn't.....

Bless eBay's heart.......they try to make promises for you that you can't keep. I know they are desperately trying to be a one-day delivery website. I have items that are required required to be shipped U.S.Postal Service Parcel Post Mail, such as aerosol cans.  Then there are other items that I choose to ship that way due to the shipping being a lot cheaper for the buyer.  Now, here's the problem: I was looking at my listing as a normal buyer would.  eBay has in red letters that such and such item of mine can be delivered in 2 days. I found it odd that eBay would say that on my listing and double-checked that I had chosen USPS Parcel Post to ship it....and I had! My two questions are: How can eBay say it will be delivered in two days when I know that I can't deliver in two days? The second question is how do I get it fixed?  that could really hurt someone's reputation in the comments section if the item arrived late "in their eyes". Any help would be greatly appreciated. (Please, no mean comments, I'm just asking a question.)

You can't correct it.  eBay bases its estimate on your average shipping transit time. 

Personally, I send a message to each and every buyer when I ship their item, giving them the tracking number and telling them that eBay's delivery time estimate is often wrong and usually too optimistic, and they should expect it to take longer.  I also use Parcel Select or sometimes Retail Ground, and I haven't had any serious complaints about delivery time.
