Hi,
US seller here....
I have Global Shipping option ticked on my listing and it's has Canada listed as one of the ship to countries.
But I have a 2nd buyer in Canada asking for a shipping quote, it's like they aren't seeing the Global shipping, or the calculator isn't pre-filling the information for them.
I have shipped to Canada with Global Shipping through eBay before with no issues. I sent the package to Erlenger, KY and it was forwarded to the address in Canada.
I am wondering if Global shipping has territory ristrictions?
Anyone else have this issue to Canada or something I am unaware of? I only want to ship with Global shipping, but this is making it difficult if the buyer can't finish the listing without contacting me for a shipping quote.
Thanks in advance

Which listing is it? I can check the listing and find out for you. Please post the item number.
There are country restrictions, but I'm not aware of any shipping restrictions that would only apply to part of the country, and not to other parts of it.
It's much more likely that the buyer feels that GSP shipping is too expensive, and they are hoping that you will agree to ship by USPS instead. GSP shipping is not a good fit for Canada in many cases, because it can be a lot more expensive, can take longer, and doesn't provide better service. The USPS and Canada Post work very well together, and there aren't the same risks, expenses or delays that make GSP a better choice for many other countries. Many sellers exempt Canada from the GSP shipping on their listings, and ship there direct when needed.
It's your choice if you want to stick with GSP, or consider shipping direct with Canada Post. But, if you're going to consider doing this for any country, Canada would make the most sense.

Thanks, it's this one https://www.ebay.com/itm/194319779151
That makes sense, I had someone in the UK contact me about something else a few days ago and they wanted me to try and ship it outside of Global because they said it would have been more expensive than what I was selling the merchandise for.

@1971camaroguy, that particular listing doesn't have GSP on it, or any international shipping, apparently. I tried several countries, including Canada, the UK, Bulgaria, Denmark and Germany. They all say the same thing: the item will ship to those countries, but no shipping is specified, contact the seller.
You need to revise this to add international shipping. It might be reasonable to allow USPS International shipping for Canada, and GSP for other countries. But, it's your choice.
With DVDs, those sold in Canada (and DVD players) use the same format/zone as those in the USA. So shipping to Canada makes sense for this item. It might not make as much sense to other countries, which may use a different format than North America, and might require a specialized DVD player. Most computers can play any format DVD.
