I can't onboard to sell anything on Ebay due to my address, "Address is Invalid" Only have PO Box

I live in a tiny sub 600 person village, and I am at a loss on what to do other then give up at this point. All shipments from the United States Postal service in town run off of PO Boxes. They do not ship anything to our houses. We all have a physical/legal address, "it is on my license" but it is not "Valid" by the USPS as they don't deliver to said addresses. They do NOT do post office street addressing.... It MUST go to my set PO Box. Anything shipped to my Physical Address would just be returned to sender anyway, unless it is UPS or FedEx. When I go to "onboard" to try to list an item it says my address is not valid & won't take my PO Box, and because there is no way to validate it due to how our postage works... even putting the PO Box number in, I can't continue the process. I can't think of anything else to do, as it needs to be my legal address.

When registering on ebay you need to use your physical address, you can use your PO box address for returns and shipping to and from addresses. Unless it is Fedex or UPS at which time you would need your physical address.

That's the problem, the onboarding process runs off the USPS database & because they don't ship to it does not "show up" in there systems, so ebay won't let me continue. It is not really a "Valid" address to them other then to show "that's where you live". It is on my license/bank/cards everything but it is not "Valid" technically by the USPS due to how small our village is. The post office is smaller then my apartment.

The address is correct in my Ebays personal info, but it want's it again when trying to post something and it just says it is invalid when it really is not.

Make sure you have the zip code correct in the returns section of the listing form

It's is the correct zip code, it does not have a city/state in my options just country & zip in listing preferences. It's just after you try to list the posting it asks for your full address, which it says is not real/calls it a PO Box even when you don't put the PO Box in the address bar.... lol

Well geez... we can play games all day trying stuff but sadly a real street address is required. OP could try CS on facebook..... but no street address is a game stopper

That's sadly my problem, it is a legit address but the USPS doesn't fully recognize it as they don't ship to anyone in town, and because Ebay can't find it in the "shippable addresses" database it won't let me put it in even though it is my real physical address.

Doesn't it seem like more than one person on eBay would have had this same problem.

OP can't be the ONLY person in the world who has only a PO box.

Hope someone else who's had the same issue will come here and tell us how it was resolved.

Maybe they wound up using only UPS, FedEx or DHL.

I finally got it to work! After looking it up I actually got it to accept my Post Office and the PO Box number.

I had to type the Post Office address then a "#Your po box number here" no quotes. I guess street addressing is available.
