I accepted return but now buyer wants to keep. How to reverse?

Recently sold an item and then buyer said defective and I accepted a return for the item. That was about 5 days ago. Today buyer sent message that he wants to keep the item. My question is how do i cancel the return request because paypal has the funds frozen currently.  I would like to use my money since he now wants to keep the item. Thanks

You can't cancel it
If buyer opened the return case & wants to close it you can ask them to go into the case & close the return. see bottom right button ( buyer has to do this) 
Or if you had ebay send the label and it is not used within 5 business days then you can call ebay cs and ask them to close it.

Only the buyer can close the request. They have 5 days to begin the return process back to, if there is no tracking in those 5 days, you can call eBay and ask them to close the return in your favor or it will auto close in 30 days. Save that message you got from that buyer for at least 180 days.
