Hello all! I recently sold two separate items, all packed with love and ready to be shipped. I dropped them off inside of a nearby USPS blue box and thought nothing of them until they didn’t make any progress in shipping. It’s been six days, and after filing a claim at the website, USPS says they haven’t moved because they haven’t received them (duh) and closed my cases. Their websites seems to have no straightforward way of contacting them about how this particular Collection Box has not been checked. I’ve sent past eBay packages through there and they’ve arrived safely, so it’s definitely still a functional box. Has anyone had this happen before? Do you have any advice for reporting noncollection of packages? I appreciate any info or even similar stories!

Happens a lot for packages to not have scans for awhile. Thousands and thousands. It started heavily Thanksgiving weekend and continues on unless you FIGHT and FORCE USPS to give you a scan at your post office. Even doing that they may or may not. They insist they be dropped off and left until they have time.
You can argue, wait in line, scan sheets, try pick up at home. Depending on what post office and whom you are dealing with it may or may not work. It's a battleground.
Know it alls here will tell you what to do....
Cos they know your post office. which is swimming in packages, will listen to you tell them what someone on the internet said.

One thing all must remember: USPS employee does not give a rat's a$$ about your eBay rating. During the week between Christmas and New Years I made a rare trip to the PO to ship something and a woman, I'll call her "Karen", was already at the counter going hard at the clerk about scanning and saying that eBay requires that she - the clerk - has to scan and if she didn't she would "report to eBay" LOL. The clerk, in the politest voice and manner possible, told "Karen" that eBay wasn't her customer, or concern, and she would do things as her boss requires, and if "Karen" had a problem that her packages allegedly weren't scanned 2 days before (this is where I found that the woman was complaining about a previous day not that day, then complain to the postmaster the number is right on "this sign". LOL. Usually I don't wait to see scan, I just drop and run, but I did that time and the clerk indeed scanned mine... but showed "awaiting pickup" for the next 2 days...
