I am the USA buyer. I had a package shipped out from the UK seller on Jan 3, 2020. The package reached the US quickly, and since Jan 13th it has sat at Pitney Bowes about an hour from me. It's Feb. 5th and there has been no movement of the package, just over 3 weeks.
I contacted Pitney Bowes and they stated to contact the seller for more information. So I contacted the seller (nicely, I understand it is not their fault), and asked if they knew a way to check on whether the package was lost, or if this was common with Pitney Bowes. The seller won't answer me, they just sent the tracking to Ebay, which says the same information that I have.
Is it common for package to sit for weeks on end with no movement, or is there a way to check that it has been lost?

I'm just assuming that your seller used eBay's GSP to get the item to you since you mentioned Pitney Bowes . I'd suggest that you go to the bottom of this page and request a call back from eBay CS, they may be able to give you more information. If they can't answer your question and the estimated delivery date has past, open an INR. Don't wait too long as you only have 30 days from the EDD to file.
Item could be lost or hung up in customs.

Yes. It has been all over the news since November.

I use this site to check International shipping. Maybe this will help you.

Thank you for all the information. It's now Feb 24th, and still no movement on my package. It looks as if Pitney Bowes has lost it.

File a claim ASAP. Even it it eventually shows up you don't want to be late.
www.ship24.com has better tracking info then eBay or the PO. Mail to Europe has been horrible. I have had priority mail packages take over a month. Believe eBay's programs are even worse. (FYI, get packages door-to-door to Japan without fail in 8-10 days).

No, it is not usual for a package to sit for weeks. If you go by these boards, you’d assume so, but it just isn’t the case.
I ship out about seven items per day - to all over the country, including to Pitney Bowes in Kentucky. I don’t have anything radically delayed. My oldest open shipment is from Feb 18 - everything before that, and much shipped after, had been delivered.
pitney Bowes has been very quick at processing my items - things, for me, aren’t sitting at their processing center. Buyer recently included the door to door delivery timing for my GSP sale to Denmark - eleven days.

Were you ever able to find the package/did it ever come? I’m in almost the exact same situation with timing and PB…
