I been selling a couple items lately, and been paid and have also been shipping, with success so far, so I´m all good. So far.
I have seen on the few payments I have lately, in my PayPal site, the buyers addresses, so far, is the very same as they have on EBAY, which is shown on PayPal Site. So therefore I wrote down the Addresses provided underneath my usual Payment summary on PayPal.
Now, while doing this with my latest Package that I am about to ship soonish, it suddenly pops up a Package I once sold (many years ago now), I remember there was one Address on EBAY and one another one Address on PayPal.
Now I´m starting thinking. HOW do I, and am able to find the BUYERS Address he/she has provided with PayPal and NOT with Ebay?
Asking since I also just recently (just a few days ago actually) I bought myself an item on Ebay, and suddenly it pops up this warning that I had to provide another Address since I couldn´t use my firm Address any longer which I have used for YEARS, and now I had to change it on Ebay to be able to buy this item of mine. I was just browsing through my PayPal Summary where I see my new EBAY Address coming up as Shipping Address to my Seller, and it does not provide my actual PayPal Address.
So, I wonder. How do I find my Buyers Addresses provided by PayPal and their actual Address THEY have provided WITH PayPal and NOT EBAY?
And why is my EBAY Address coming up on my PayPal Summary payment as the ship to and not my ACTUAL PayPal Address I have provided with PayPal? Because I PAY with PayPal. And my actual PAYPAL Address is cetainly NOT like the Ebay Address.
I know Ebay and PayPal have done changes lately. I know how I could find out the actual PayPal address of buyers before, but now I am unable to, but I guess there is a way of doing it. How?
Because I need to know when the time for Shipping Address is different then the PayPal Address, which in some cases it is. I know.

It doesn't matter what address they have on their accounts.
You ship to the address they gave when they paid.
If you don't ship to that address, you lose what little seller protection we have.

That wasn´t really what I asked about you know. I know in some cases Adress on Ebay may be different then what is PayPal.
If you have one address on PAYPAL and 1 EBAY Address, you surely want to Ship to the PayPal Address, or the Buyer would like you to ship to his/her actual PAYPAL Address.
How to find out? I know it used to be possible, but the latest time Ebay and PayPal been doing many, many changes.

You do not need the buyer's Paypal address.
Many years ago, the buyer's shipping address was provided by their Paypal account during checkout. Paypal had something called a confirmed address (it matched your cc billing address). If we wanted to have an alternate confirmed address we had to jump through hoops.
With the separation of eBay & Paypal, the shipping address is provided by the buyer's eBay account.
This is the only shipping address to use.

Ebay is providing protection for your sale, not Pay-Pal. Pay-Pal is just for money being moved from the buyer to seller, so you ship to the address provide by eBay. The PayPal address has nothing to do with the sale, so no you do not ship to the Pay-Pal address.

So what you say is that it is actually IMPOSSIBLE and NO LONGER POSSIBLE to find out the Buyers Address provided iwth ACTUAL PayPal Address?
I´m also asking ALL this BECAUSE of meself having 2 different Addresses. 1 Ebay, 1 PayPal one.
Why? Because suddenly after having had the very same one Address on Ebay for YEARS, I SUDDENLY had to change it because of Ebay just SUDDENLY had decided my Address was not "allowed" and had to be changed. This was suddenly just the case, just recently when I tried to buy something I have always done the same way as I always done it.
Therefore I am also asking all this since I myself is now having "2" different Addresses. I´m not saying I ahve a false one, it is a correct one, but I have provided paypal with another one which is more correct oen. I mean Paypal is the one I have always used.
So, in my case. Should I just pay like I always used to pay and then after payment, I should provide my Seller with my Actual PayPal Address then to actually send/ship to?

No. Many sellers will not accept your address change after you've paid.
Your eBay account has your registration address ... your legal address.
And your eBay account can have multiple shipping addresses on file.
During checkout, provide the shipping address for where you actually want the item shipped.

Yes, ok. I will check up on this. I just want to get it shipped when I do buy something, for it to be shipped to the Address I ALWAYS have provided with both Paypal and Ebay AS ALWAYS.
But a bit hard for me to do this now since I was stopped by Ebay just recently buying on Ebay since I had to provide another Address on Ebay other then the one I always used, since Ebay thougth it to not be "legit" for some reason. Even though that is the one I ALWAYS used on Ebay.
Let us say it this way, it is LESS then 2 weeks ago I had to "chenge" it because of it being not "correct", but I have had it and used that address (old now) since my very first day on Ebay, which is in fact way longer then THIS account.
And also since the fact I am always used with the term Be sure to ship to the address provided with Paypal "rule". And just recently it has been many changes to both Ebay and PayPal, and I am actually thinking of just quitting the whole of Ebay because of this all new stuff happening.
I seen tons of Ebayers just go from Ebay, last couple of months now, because of all these changes. Yes, people that been here from the very earliest of Ebay days.

How about this, you buy something from me, pay then want to change your address after the fact. I cancel the sale because of problem with address. I am not going to lose my seller protection by changing the address after being payed. I am only going to the ship to the address provided at the time of payment.
I have several ship to address in my eBay list, I can chose any of them in the payment window before I pay.
Have you tried added the address you want to have shipped to and keeping the old one for now, then choosing the one you want to use in the check out window? I pay for shipping thru eBay not Pay-Pal even if Pay-Pal is where the funds come from.

This is one part of eBay that has been the same for years...its not a new system. Even though some people still say ship to the PP address, once the buyer has paid, the seller has only been able to see the same address on both sites and that address is the one the buyers choose on eBay when they checkout.
If you want to change the address that currently comes up when you make a purchase you can go to your account and mark the address that you want to use as your ‘primary shipping address’.

you surely could be wrong if you choose the paypal address
ebay gives you the correct address with the ready to ship notice
shipping to the payapal address can get you in hot water
you shoud never ever pay attention to the paypal adress because its not what ebay uses
ebay uses the address for the order details page

Why did your question about shipping an item you sold turn into an issue about receiving an item you bought?
Buyers select the shipping address when they pay; it can be their own address, a relative's address, or a friend's address. That's the address you ship to if you want to have seller protection, and that's the address that sellers will ship to when you buy something. All this "eBay address", "PayPal address" stuff is irrelevant.

OT thanks for that link. I was able to do a quick check and corrected a couple of phone numbers that I hadn't changed.

There is no different PayPal address to pay attention to. The only address a seller can see on PP and eBay is the address used when the buyer paid.
