A buyer made two separate purchases and I shipped both of them in the same box (going to same address). I was able to add tracking to one of the purchases but cannot add the same tracking number to the second purchase. I had this happen in the past and ebay chat helped but I can't get thru to them.
Anyone remember how to do this?

Are you sure both orders where placed by the same user account?
It's possible the buyer was using Guest Checkout and instead of adding both items to the cart they did two separate purchases. When a guest account is used the orders cannot be official combined because each guest account is separate.
If this is what happened (or the buyer used two different registered accounts) you cannot add tracking to both. You can still ship them together but you will get a No Tracking Upload "ding" on one of them. One of these isn't going to affect your account. a bunch of them might.
