So my situation is as follows:
- Purcahsed a laptop battery on eBay
- Get the battery, DOA, confirmed to be battery, contact seller, they reply back within 12 hours, they send me a new one
- Second battery doesn't have the same issue as first, SEEMS to work, tell seller it seems to work, leave positive feedback
- Laptop starts shutting down randomly and requires to be plugged into adapter to turn on, battery still has 60% charge, read forums and update BIOS and do everything possible to the laptop to determine it is working properly, test exact same scenario with old battery to determine the the second new battery recieved from seller is also faulty
- Contact seller and ask for a refund, I will send back both faulty batteries (within 30 days of the second replacement battery)
- Seller doesnt reply
- Send seller another message via eBay and refund service and seller closes the request within a couple of hours
- I do not have an "Appeal" option for this item on my dashboard
- When I open up the transaction it shows the original and replacement batteries but I think I used a refund request on the first one which would be >30 days expired instead of the second one which would be <30 days but when I try again on the second battery it says it has already been used (because of the first)
I have proof of e-mails showing I asked for a refund within the 30 days of recieving the replacement battery. Can someone suggest what my course of actions should be?

So you're saying a seller could send me a DOA replacement which doesn't arrive until more than 30 days past the original DOA product and eBay is okay with that because it is more than 30 days past the original arrival of the first DOA product. Whereas this case is that the second faulty product was not proven to be faulty until more than 30 days after the original DOA product was recieved.
I don't know what a chargeback is so I will need to look into it, thanks for the suggestion.
