How they are offering free shipping on $2 orders.

Currently minimum shipping is $3 to $7 according zone but when I checked many of seller offer free shipping on below $2 order. Check attachment. I order one of Product which cost is $1.39 I received order within 4 days they used USPS service. My question how they offer free shipment.

My guess would be that they're massive enough to both get a good discount on shipping, but also just need to keep numbers up and inventory moving. Also, probably would cost more than they loose to dispose of them at a commercial dump or recycling center.

Can be sold as a " loss leader" items sold below cost to bring you to their site in hopes you will see other items you also buy.  Common practice in supermarkets.

Well, their feedback is horrible, so they are probably trying to get some positive feedback.
