How long do you wait for response?

The item I purchased (cornhole bag set) had not been shipped as of two days past the expected arrival date. I requested, received a refund and a week after receiving my refund, the seller, shipped the item. I emailed and told the seller if he sends me a return shipping label I'll promptly return the merchandise.  How long do I wait for a response before donating the merchandise to the Boys and Girls Club?   7 days now and no response.

If it comes Priority mail I would just write refused on it and give it back to the delivery carrier. You possibly could do the same thing if UPS. Many donation centers are not taking anything at this time.

Contact your seller again

I would then give it another  30 calendar days before considering it as abandoned.

Then I would contact your seller with a  final notice requesting a return label, & your intent to donate the item to charity after × number of days should a reply not be forthcoming.

Are you buying it to donate to the Boys and Girls club?

If so, you can always ask the seller for an invoice and pay it since they've arrived.

If you were buying for yourself and have already bought another set, then the return sounds reasonable, too.

Chances might even be that the seller would rather see them donated than to pay return shipping.

Bought another set and don't want to purchase another but don't want a free set either. So the thought process was to donate them if the seller does nothing or does not want merchandise returned.

I would contact the seller two more times (one time a week) and then donate it if they don't respond to either of those messages. Your honesty and they way you are handling this is admirable:)
