How long can a return wait at a PO Box for the seller to pick it up?

I purchased an item, but when it arrived, it did not match the seller's description.  The posting said I could return it for any reason, so I started a return, shipped it and it arrived to the seller's PO Box 2 days ago.  The seller has 5 or 6 days to refund my payment after delivery, but how long can they let it sit at the PO Box before EBAY considers it to be "Delivered"?  The shipping status still shows it is "IN TRANSIT" even though it shows it is waiting for Pickup at the PO Box.

When someone has a PO box, incoming mail can stay until he/she picks it up. (Without a PO box, packages are held for 15 days.)

Some people only may get into town once a week; others may be on vacation. Give it a few more days -- the seller knows the package is waiting.
