How guarantee sale of gift card chick-fil-a not returned?

I just sold a chick-fil-a promotional and now im worried about fraud. There doesnt seem anyway to check and record the balance. Any suggestions

Did you check the Terms to see if that company even permits those to be transferred at all?

There’s really no seller protection on gift cards so if the buyer claims it’s empty it doesn’t matter what the balance is now.
