I sold a brand new zenith dtv box being it is NEW i said no returns on new items in the description and even had the no returns box checked but the fool says it don't work and i say NO. So the case goes to ebay and they say YES return it and give him a refund.
Well i get the right item back and it does work but now it is used so its value goes from $60 to $20 and after paying 2 rounds of shipping my profit is gone!! I am going to call ebay myself and say how do i win a case!! my only guess is sell everyhthing and say non-working for parts & repair but then nobody will pay $60 either. It is rare and so hard to find new items to resell so i consider it a treat when i do find some then this happens. So all of us could go on here and buy something new & use it and a week later say eh its not working right and get all our money back, Not all buyers are crooks but Selllers get screwed in the end.

If you call report the Misuse of Returns, eBay will probably refund you the return shipping. Supposedly, they will also catch buyers who do this routinely.
Other than SuperBowl week, I can't see a buyer renting a TV for a week.

eBay just about always allows returns (unless it is for parts/not working) ... but you seem to know this.
When a seller lists an item with "no returns" it is not "as is, no returns" ... the only thing we are doing is reducing the number of return reasons from something like 11 reasons down to 5 reasons, so the customer selects the best one of those 5 in order to get the item back.
Of course, it is also possible that the item really doesn't work.

Do you really think you can just make listings on this site that say no returns, and if the buyer does happen to get an item that doesn't work, you are off the hook because you said no returns?
Have you not heard of the Money Back Guarantee before this? It doesn't matter what you say if a buyer claims not as described and they win the case, which they probably will.
