This is my first time wanting to sell something that will fit in a regular bubble mailer (in my case it's a small article of clothing). I want to give potential buyers an option to recieve it through regular, USPS, in-your-mailbox mail to save some money. However, I don't see an option to do that under "select a shipping service." Am I missing something?
I found some old archived posts talking about doing so, but they were a few years old. I'm a dummy who can't find a more current answer.

no you aren’t blind! There is a quick listing tool and maybe that’s what I was on? I didn’t see an option to switch to the advanced listing tool. Your screen has calculated priority but I do not sss first class either, it should be listed under standard shipping.

You just choose USPS as the carrier. And package/thick envelope as the package type. If you’ll be printing the label online & the article of clothing weighs under 16oz then choose USPS first class package as the service type. If it’s over 16oz, then the service type will priority mail, the first option under “expedited services”

I must be blind, because I'm not seeing anything like your screen. My options look like this:

Oh I think I figured it out, thanks. There was a button all the way at the top of the screen to switch to "advanced" listing, and now it looks like the picture you posted and includes the other shipping options. Thanks!

Ah...I'm going to say you might need a bit more in the area of tutorial before you go live.
If you can, watch someone do it all in front of you first.
Read up on your protections....and definitely read up on what buyers have as protections before you click that blue button.

It's not my first time selling something at all on ebay, just my first time selling something that is small enough not to need a cardboard box, and cheap enough not to benefit from a different shipping method 🙂
Until now, the other "non-advanced" shipping/selling view met all my needs.
