Went to post office they told me they can't ship it. Needs a level that they won't provide. Went to UPS store they also no help. How do I ship this container. Also it's been used it's 90% full. I found a box that has warning labels on it. It's not R410a but it's another refrigerant and non flammable gas. Wondering if I can put the tank I'm shipping in the box, slap my shipping label on there and drop it off at the post office? Any help is appreciated. Order is late I feel bad

Did you try FedEx Ground? It definitely should not be shipped in an airplane, so I wouldn't try to sneak it past USPS.

Do not put it in a regular box. There is a reason why it can't go air mail . God forbid that item explodes in flight, you are responsible. Do what the others stated. Ask the buyer to please be patient and explain why.

It's HAZMAT and has to have the data safety sheet for freon, has to be packaged and labeled in accordance of what class of hazardous or flammable material you have. The paperwork needed is a PIA and can only be shipped surface-ground only (ORM-D)
You really should make that no shipping local pickup only. Cancel and relist with no shipping.

its not really a good idea to camouflage this pressure vessel or tank of cold stuff
not sure how big it is but I woud ask around the HVAC folks in your town to see if they can use it
maybe trade it for an AC tune up or heater cleaning
I know you have it sold and want the $$ but shipping it with the USPS is not supposed to be done
I hope it works out for you

Before listing the item, why didn't you do some research about shipping this item.
Now you are late in shipping because of not knowing the proper way to ship the item and you want to take chances to ship the item in a reckless manner. (just my opinion).
I always check when I have unusual or larger than normal size packages with a shipping store and they give me their thoughts and prices so that I know what to do before listing.

"Wondering if I can put the tank I'm shipping in the box, slap my shipping label on there and drop it off at the post office" I can think of one reason why you absolutely should not do this.....
Go read about the everglades Value Jet plane and see why shipping things via air that should not be shipped by air is a very bad thing.
The ValuJet Airlines McDonnell Douglas DC-9 operating the route crashed into the Everglades about 10 minutes after taking off from Miami as a result of a fire in the cargo compartment caused by improperly stored and labeled hazardous cargo. All 110 people on board died

Wouldn't you feel worse if you tried to illegally ship the item by purposely not disclosing the contents which would lead to proper procedures not being followed for hazardous materials and INNOCENT people died.???????

A 608 certification is required to purchase R410a cylinders. How will you determine your buyer has that?
