I thought the post office lost another package of mine so I had them looking for it. Come to find out the fault was on my end and the package got accidentally put in a drawer. I found the package today. Emailed the buyer who still wants it shipped out. I went to void the old label and purchase/print a new one but it does not give me that option. Says I have 5 days to void. How do I void it so I don't have to buy two labels. Should I mark the item unshipped as it won't go out until Monday? I guess I am doomed to get a ding for late shipping even though I am printing a new shipping label? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I guess you have to purchase a new label.
Or you can do what others have said worked for them depending on the PO used, they took the package to the post office and asked if they can still mail it; I have seen some answers that the clerk did accept the package and mailed it...I don't know what the official USPS rule is.

Use the original label. As long as you ship before rates go up on the 18th there shouldn't be an issue. Some post offices are picky, but I've never had a problem using a label that was a few days old.
Post offices are closed on Monday for holiday. @royalprincessdesigns

I have already used a shipping label that was almost 3 weeks past the date I printed it. I accidently dropped a package behind my desk. Went on vacation for 3 weeks. OOPS. I just gave it to the driver when we returned and all was well.

If you want to use a new label, print it at paypal at Paypal.com/shipnow.
USPS has said (cannot say if it's true) that all unused postage will be refunded in thirty days after it has been shown to be not used

If the item will arrive later than the last delivery estimated date and you can use a different shipping type, i.e., Priority mail to make the package get there faster then I would do that to avoid the late shipping ding and also get the buyer their item on time.
You would lose the original postage cost, but that number uploaded will qualify you for part of your shipment handling time responsibility and when the faster shipping gets the item there on time, you should also be protected on the late delivery part. Just be sure to add the priority mail tracking number to the order details page.

That's a guaranteed hit on the "tracking uploaded on time and validated" metric.
Since the seller is already more than 5 days late, Priority probably won't do anything to get the package there on time unless their original label is Media Mail or Parcel Select - then they might have a slim chance at on time delivery.
