How do I send an offer to a buyer?

Hello,

I`m planning to expand my business on Ebay and decided to allow international customers to buy from me.

I personally drop ship all my products and I would like to know how and where exactly do I send my package to kentucky warehouse to be prepared for international shipping?

What does package need to have? What labeling? How do people in warehouse identify my package? I tried to google and search through youtube but did not get correct answer.

Thank you, Jaroslav

Are you talking about the GSP program?  I don't believe that they have a warehouse in Kentucky, if you are.  They have a shipping center where you send your items purchased to be shipped to the buyer, but they do not, to the best of my knowledge, store unsold merchandise awaiting a buyer.

you have to sign up into the GSP when you list. When the product sells, You send it to the shipping Center address supplied to you (the shipping hub is in Kentucy) Your shipping responsibilty is down once the GSP accepts it. They send it tothe international buyer.

Drop shipping and using the GSP is a horrible idea. Dopshipping in general is not a good idea here.

You have to opt-in to the global shipping program. If an international buyer buys from you, you'll get the address to the GSP hub in Kentucky when the buyer pays & you will ship their item to the GSP in KY. If you buy the shipping label from ebay, it will have an reference number on it along with the buyers name so thats how the GSP will identify the package & know who to send it to. if you don't use an ebay label, you will have to get the reference number off the order details page & write it on the label yourself. If you are dropshipping, obviously you are going to have a big problem. How will you get the reference number on the package? Can you buy the label from ebay and send it to your dropshipper? How will you handle returns? You'll be responsible for international return shipping on not as described returns. The buyer will return the item to your return address on file with ebay.

Thanks for the reply guys!

I was just searching for some videos and found a guy who process orders including ref number in the amazon order process.

So If I got the idea I will just input ref number in amazon customer shipping adress and that should be done.

Explained here in the video:

When talking about warehouse - I ment shipping department. Sorry for misunderstanding.

Hopefully my problem is solved! 🙂

Actually it might be just beginning. Smiley Sad Its true that you only need domestic postage to ship GSP packages to Kentucky & then they take over from there - but what exactly is Amazons involvement here? You cant use your Prime account for dropshipping to customers. Although Im not sure what you mean by 'personally dropshipping' anyway. If you are sending the item yourself then you are not dropshipping. Thats a touchy term so if youre not really dropshipping then youre better off not describing it that way.

Stuff shipped using the fulfillment by Amazon program can't be traced on eBay.  so any reference # you get from Amazon won't prove the item arrived unless it's being sent by one of the standard carriers like the post office or UPS and you enter the tracking number into the sales record.

Aha!

I`m going to send my customers products from Amazon but of course a bit over priced.

Sure ref number is involved on the package so I hope there will not be a lot of problems. Need to test it out so I can talk from my own experince. I`m more practical guy so I find out how things work in real world ^^.

Okay - so just buy the item yourself and have it sent to you. Then you can take your own photos & sell it for whatever price you want.

If you send the items from Amazon youre still on the hook if they mess up. You might want to read this:

SMH

Why ask for advice when you don't want to take it?

If you dropship from Amazon you risk not only your ebay account if something goes wrong but your Amazon account as well.

FBA is notorious for sending the wrong items. I myself have had 4 returns that I've had to make there in a year.

Also, you need to price the item high enough to cover all of your eBay fees plus the base price of the item plus profit. Often is simply not practical to do that. also buyers have gotten savvy and figured out that lousy eBay sellers do this, & have started shopping on Amazon.

Honestly it's hard enough to make sales here these days without dropshippers driving people to the competition.
