I recently found some antique glass bowls that two members of a social media group I belong to have expressed interest in buying. One lives only a few miles away, so I want to offer him the opportunity to pick these dishes up in person should he win the auction. I know that I can select the option to "offer local pick up", but not sure how to indicate that the buyer has received the item without providing tracking information, and since I have a three day shipping time, would this buyer have to pick up the lot within three days? Does that three day requirement change with local pick up? Obviously, this option is not something I've used before so I'll be grateful for any help. Thanks!

To have "local Pick up" it has to be on the auction as an option in the shipping section.
Once an auction starts it cant be added.
If you sell an item with local pick up, the buyer choses that when paying.
Your shipping requirement will not apply to local pick up.

When items are sold for/with local pickup, the buyer gets a code that they need to give you on pickup and shows they received the item(s). That code is entered or scanned when they pick the item(s) up. Not everyone is working from a mobile device so should be way to enter that code manually. (?) Sorry can't help with the 2ed part of the question, re pick up time.
