How do I help a seller find a carrier to ship an item to me?

Hello!  I'm located in the United States, and want to purchase a large teddy bear from a seller in the UK.   She wants me to find a carrier that can pick up the bear from her home, and then ship him.   On her listing, it says "may not post to the USA", so she doesn't have Global Shipping set up.

I have an identical bear, and when I bough that one, that seller used UPS, and everything worked out fine.   So I know it's possible to ship to the USA.

What's the best way for me to help the seller get the shipping set up, so that I am able to purchase the bear from her?

The big shippers like Fedex or UPS can  handle that.  It will be expensive however.  Will it also need to be packed?  They can do that too for an extra fee.

According to the following link, they can use Royal Mail International Tracked as they do offer a service where they will pick up the parcel at the seller's location.

Thanks to everyone who answered.    Unfortunately,  I wasn't able to purchase the bear that I wanted.   At first, the seller seemed willing to try and find a way to do international shipping, but then she decided (after a few lame excuses) that she wasn't willing to do it.    I'm still a bit upset with the whole situation, because she at first used the excuse that she lived in a rural area and couldn't take the bear anywhere to mail it.   (So, how does she buy groceries and supplies if she can't get to town??)   Then, she decided to end the auction, claiming that her sister wanted the bear, and was going to sell the bear in a charity auction at work.   (Well, her sister could have picked up the bear to mail to me.   Or, she should have asked her sister if she wanted the bear before creating the listing).   Then, she relisted the bear, claiming that her sister didn't want it after all.   Then, she said she had a disabled child, and there wasn't enough room in her car for the kid and the bear.    Still, she could have had UPS pick up the bear, or have someone drop it off at the UPS store for her.   I have an identical bear, and had no trouble fitting mine in the car to take to FedEx and UPS, to see how expensive it might be to mail one like him.

I'm so disappointed, because I really wanted another bear so mine would have his twin!!!

It's too bad you couldn't get it, but, realistically, it's a bear.  Hopefully, there were more than two made, so there is still a chance you might find it somewhere from another seller.

And to answer some of your other questions:  Since the pandemic, many people have chosen to have their groceries delivered or have found a friend or relative to handle that for them.

On the other hand, perhaps she just did not really want to sell it to you, we will never know.
