How do I get in contact with someone on eBay

I just had a seller ship my package to my address, not the one I gave him.  I can't figure out how I can even get in touch with someone from eBay anymore.  Can you no longer call them?

Many sellers will only ship to the buyer's registered eBay/PayPal address. If they ship to another address they will lose their seller protection.  You should always ask first, before buying. 

I doubt eBay will help you in this case. The seller is following the policy. You can always temporarily change your ship to address in your account settings,  but you need to remember change it back.

You can usually find a link to a call back or chat session at the bottom of most pages in Help&Support at the top of this page.

Did your seller give you someone else's tracking number @ros52531, to fake it look like you received your package?

On the page where the buyer (you) pays, the buyer is shown the address where this package will be shipped.

He is given the opportunity to change that address if he wishes.  The seller is required, BY EBAY RULES, to ship to that address only.

Now the question becomes: Did you make sure that address was the correct one, the one where you wanted your item shipped?  Or did you send the seller a different address in a message?

Or did the seller ship to an entirely different (strange) address?

ALL sellers are required to ship to the address shown on the invoice page where the buyer pays.

The buyer is given the chance to change that address if he wishes it shipped elsewhere.

ALL sellers (not "many") should ship to that address, no exceptions.

What is the shipping address on your order details page?

That is the only address the seller can ship to or they void their seller protection.

To speak to ebay customer service on bottom of page click "Help and contact" >>contact Us>>Shipping and Tracking>>Shipping and delivery for buyers>>Then choose "Chat with automated assistant"..

Start chat automated chat and during the chat choose the option to "Contact an agent"

Due to COVID it has been difficult talking to a CSR.

Try using Facebook or Twitter, that worked for me. 

You can send an email message to eBay. Not sure if email is working. It is hit and miss due to COVID-19. I just used it on Aug 11, 2020 and got a reply and solution to a problem I found here on eBay. I was shocked. I used it again on Aug 26, 2020 and got a call and they took care of an eBay issue.

Social media worked for me. I received an answer and resolution to my issue fairly quickly.  The CSR ended up calling me. It wouldn't hurt to leave a contact number.   

You can also try to get phone support by visiting any help topic page, scroll down to the bottom of the page to the call back option.  Click on the option and you should get a message that you will get a call back with the estimated time.

Be advised that this option is not available 24/7. If you try a time that is not eBay’s normal business hours the option may not be there or your call back will be take longer. I recommend trying this option in the morning California time.

he estado leyendo las políticas de eBay sobre devolución y no veo en ningún lugar donde dice que EBay se queda con el 50% del valor total de la compra cuando se procesa una devolución ya que el vendedor hizo el reembolso total de la compra, pero eBay se queda con el 50% lo cual es un abuso total.
