How do I change shipping to local pickup after the item is sold?

I’m not able to change the item to local pickup on my listing and my buyer wants to do local pick up. So if he buys the item can I change the shipping to local pickup? And if I am able to how can I do it?

Is this Fixed Price or Auction?

Are you trying to remove the shipping and "change to local pickup" or are you trying to add Local Pickup as an options.

If the buyer is able to purchase WITHOUT paying (easy for an Auction), then you would be able to send an invoice via eBay and on that you can either add Free Local Pickup as an option or probably the only option.

For a Fixed Price listing they may be able to add to cart and use the Request Total button which would allow you to send a revised invoice.

If they buy and pay your only option is to refund the shipping and eat the fees if you can't add a Local Pickup option. In this situation eBay will assume it's being shipped and regular INR rules apply. While this would not bother me one bit many sellers take a dim view of completing transactions where no proof of delivery exists.

Create a new or edit your listing's shipping policy by selecting local pickup as one of the services you offer. You can update your shipping policy in Business Policies or when you revise your listing.

If buyer has not yet paid, then go to ORDERS > Awaiting Payments. For the item you want to remove the shipping charge, select "Send Invoice" under the Actions column.  An invoice will appear.  In the Shipping section click the drop down arrow and find the "Local Pickup" entry, change the amount to $0.00. 

In my case the "Local Pickup" was already included on the invoice which I had to delete then change the shipping method as stated above.

If listing is still active you need to edit it and add that option.

OR end listing and relist it with that option.

Make sure you check q code to see if it is valid before releasing the item.

Also I suspect this whole mess my be to SCAM you, as I see no item on  the user ID you have asked about this with.
