I'm closing one of my PayPal accounts and wanted to switch to another to pay for shipping. I Googled and found here instructions on how to de-authorize eBay from automatically charging for shipping to the PayPal account I want to close.
Now, when I want to ship, it says:
So I went to Seller account, and under Payment it shows this:
The PayPal account is correct there, that is the one I want to use.
But wait! There's also this page under Payments in a different section:
I deleted the "wrong" PayPal account out of there yesterday (which didn't do anything at all, eBay Shipping doesn't use that one, hence having to de-authorize from PayPal itself). So I tried to add the right PayPal account in here, too, despite deleting the wrong one not doing anything. However, the PayPal option is grayed out.
Can anyone assist by telling me where on this exceptionally convoluted site, is the proper place to add the "right" PayPal account?

Since you are in Managed Payments, why not just switch your label purchases to your pending funds?

I can get cashback using a cashback credit card to fund the purchases (i.e. Discover). Small amount, but adds up over time especially since shipping is so expensive these days.
Although another thing I don't know is if I'm charged any additional fee if I pay with PayPal funded by credit card over Managed Payments.
