Looking for advice on how to cancel a transaction and refund my customer for item that was shipped to them, but they said it doesn't work. I'm ok with just refunding them for everything, but just need to know how to do it since I did have a no return policy, I can't figure out how to cancel the transaction. Hope someone can help me.

You no return policy has nothing to do with the eBay MBG. It may be to late, since the item has already reached the buyer, for them to request a cancellation. The best thing for you to do is just go to PayPal and issue a refund from the original transaction. This will not cancel the auction but should satisfy the buyer. It will also prevent you getting a defect caused by them opening a case. Just be sure to tell them that the refund may take several days to get back to their funding source.

If your in Managed Payments find and select the transaction from shipped orders. Arrow down under the blue link to send refund. When the page opens up make sure to select a reason for the refund, it's at the top and easy to miss. The refund will process / submitt on the next page.
