How do I add signature required for delivery?

Selling an item over $750, still cannot find one single option for signature on delivery anywhere on ebay or a simple answer on just how to do it.  Any help is appreciated.

Should how up on the screen where you purchase the mailing label. It will done towards the bottom of the screen.

Are you asking how to purchase the label properly? If you go to the Label page and scroll down below where you choose the 'Service'. You'll see 'Addition Options'... tick that and select 'Require signature on delivery'. Then tick 'Purchase shipping label'. Hope that answers... good luck.

But how do you specify the extra cost when creating the auction? It will give the buyer a shipping cost, which they will pay, but that shipping cost won't include the extra fee for the signature. Do you have to re-invoice the buyer?

The seller pays for it.

If you want the buyer to pay for it, add a handling charge on the shipping.

You cannot re-invoice the buyer for additional shipping and handling after they have purchased the item.  

Any extra costs such as signature confirmation, insurance, etc. have to be included in the listing, either as (1) handling cost added to your shipping when you set up the listing; or (2) added to the asking price of the item or the opening bid for the auction.

I can't find a way to add a signature anymore with the new ebay shipping.

Hi @1952_m38a1 . If you're on the simplified label page you won't see that option, or pretty much any option. Click the link on the top right (text is slightly different from below screenshot - it now says 'switch to advanced shipping'):

Once your shipping options are expanded you will see signature confirmation below the list of carriers and services.

Additional information @1952_m38a1 :

If you're choosing a service like UPS Ground Saver (Surepost) or FedEx Ground Economy (SmartPost), services where the carrier may hand off to USPS for last leg of delivery, it's no longer possible to buy sig conf for those services.

If sig conf is important you will need to choose a different shipping service on eBay labels.
