How do I add a second shipping service to an existing listing?

Amazing - after decades of using eBay - they have fixed this so I have no idea what I should do.

When I click "Revise" this is all I see with under shipping. It doesn't even show what service I originally selected.

Just a dropdown that seems to list every shipping option under the sun.

What happened to the "new listing tool" options I see when I create a listing

And - "Shipping Policy" ?? Is that really the right choice of words...?

Im losing money right now because of this...

Here's what the drop down shows...why does it show how many listings of each service I have??? And none of those choices make a shred of sense.

"USPS Media Mail FedEx"

??????????????????????

I would expect to see one of those "Edit all options" links...but its not there.

So - this is broken. And I have customers who want to Buy it NOW - and I can't set up the listing properly.

Making me backpedal and sound uncertain to my customers is not cool.

It is giving you options you have used on listings. Supposedly you have used the choice of media rate OR Fed Ex 3 times.

If you select one of the options shown you will be given an opportunity to edit it and name the option for use in future listings.

Took me awhile to get that. I renamed the option I use most "normal"

So - this seems to a "new feature" - this is just unbelievable.

So - we just had a snazzy looking Shipping Options screen in the listing tool...OK.

And now it seems to be replaced with this cryptic drop down?

This seems across the board - I just tried to start a new listing.

This is beyond absurd.

So it seems eBay now expects me to create "Shipping Policies"??? And then pick from them???

WHY?????????????????????

And here we go - RED TEXT errors...and what is this cryptic CSV presentation...do you really think people can understand that?

 "Calculated:FedEx Ground o,3 business days"

This unacceptable, and I will not list another item until something that makes some freaking sense is done.

Look at how busy this screen is? Im not sitting there and figuring out what every "existing" service is...stop wasting my time.

Im telling my customer who wanted FedEx..."sorry."

How do I add a second shipping service to an existing listing?

There must at least 100 options or "policies" in my shipping drop down. I guess these are all variations of shipping "policy" I've used over the years.

And it wont show what my current selection is when I revise a listing...I have to click "view shipping policy" - which is a terrible label BTW...how about "Show Selected Shipping Policy"

So - I guess a "policy" is a selection of a service or services, turnaround time, etc...

Is there a way I can delete the 100 or so past "policies" and start over - so this MIGHT have a chance of making sense?

Ok - so to make it more difficult. In your seller dashboard...these "Shipping Policies" are under the "Business Policies" link.

And - at this link the words "Shipping Policies" is never used again except for the "Clean Up Shipping Policies" link.

This kind of inconsistency drives me nuts.

It looks like you opted in to business policies. You can opt out on this page, or you can choose to continue with them.

The initial set-up takes a while, but in my experience it's worth it. It saves so much time when creating listings to choose a shipping policy from the list.

There is a clean up link on the biz policy page, but it really doesn't do much - it does not eliminate all the duplicates. You'll have to do some manual work to get things cleaned up and also name the policies with your own titles so they're easier to ID.
