I could not understand why there were two tracking numbers for my one package. I just figured out that some how ebay let me purchase two labels for the same package by mistake without any warning. What on earth is going on? Can I get it back? I'm pretty new to eBay and this is extremely frustrating!!

Ok, I found that you have 5 days to request to void a label. How buying a label twice happened in the first place I still do not know. Wow, shipping is challenging.

why wouldn't a platform allow you to print a "new" label for the same package.....
examples:
You printed a first-class when you wanted media mail....
You printed priority and realized you could save a few bucks and print first class.....
I have not intentionally done this recently, but there 'used to be' a warning label in red text across the top reminding me I have already printed a label for that order......
Shipping is very user controlled (size, weight, service) so, yes it can be challenging.....

when you attempt to print a second label for an item you have already shipped there is a warning
"you have already purchased a label for this item"
its easy to go to the labels page and see all of your labels and manage them
you can use this link to get there

I did not see a warning. So confusing. I really need to be more careful!

Very odd I don’t recall any kind of warning. Thanks for your response!

Thank you, yes, I found that and have put in a request. Thank you!

You probably just overlooked the warning. eBay allows sellers to purchase multiple labels because sometimes an error is made on the first label, and sometimes the shipment requires multiple boxes.
This is what the warning looks like at the top of the page on the website:
