It was about twenty dollars for it shipped to my address, and the seller also payed for the label to return it. Paypal has made it difficult to resend a partial refund back to the seller now that I am refunded plus tax and shipping charges. Why is this so difficult?

If I get it correctly:

1. Seller paid for the item to ship to you $20

2. You returned the item to the seller. Seller provided and paid for shipping label

3. you want to reimburse seller partially for shipping cost.

It is easy: go to paypal, send money to friends, enter seller's email, enter the amount, include note to seller what is it for. That's it.

Do you know that the sellers email is hidden from my ebay purchase and paypal. With this kind of death I will doctor target them.

It was my understanding that if you were already in transaction with someone, you could ask them for their email address through ebay messaging.

Or, try this...If you have their name, sign into paypal, click on send money and type in their name . I just tried it with a recent transaction and their name came up so I'm sure that I could have sent them money.
