How To Handle "Please Ship ASAP" When Payment Hasn't Yet Hit My Bank Account

Hi All,

I've not had any issues until now with the new payment system of having to wait a few days for a buyer's funds to be deposited...until now.  Buyer paid immediately, eBay has their funds, but they won't be deposited for a few days due to eBay's holding time.  Buyer sent a note requesting I ship their item ASAP (meaning NOW, because they paid right away).  But I technically don't have their payment yet.  What if I ship the item right away, they change their minds, and their funds haven't reached my bank yet?  Has anyone had that issue?

It is not suggested you have the funds deposited before shipping the item.  It is ready to ship if you look at the order.  You can have the funds for shipping come out of the pending funds, its an option at the bottom of the shipping label. 

I have never read of a single instance where Ayden did not follow through with the money....  NOT ONE!

well not to get technical but what does ebays holding time have to do with shipping.

you need to ship according to your handling time

you should just look in seller hub to see what needs to be shipped

if the seller hub says ready to ship then thats what needs to be done

waiting  for a buyers payment to clear MP and then shipping is just slow

Yes you need to ship this item within your stated listing time

It is not possible for the buyer to change their mind and just retrieve their funds.

Do not be holding back your shipments with this new payment system. People get extremely upset if your item is not delivered in a timely fashion and ESPECIALLY if they have requested a pronto delivery.

Once the payment status changes to "Processing", that means the payment is confirmed and you're supposed to ship the item. 

You're not supposed to wait until the money is transferred to your bank account. If you do that, you can expect to get dinged for late shipment.
