So, I had opened a case with ebay over a seller due to false info on the item I bought. I won, and then shipped the item back to the seller. Then I accidentally mistyped the tracking code.
Will a mistyped tracking code mess with getting my money back? If so, how do I change it?

Yes it will. Go back and "add" another tracking number, correctly typed this time.

You MUST supply the correct tracking number to the case to prove through tracking that the item was delivered back to the sellers zip code for you to receive your refund.
You need to do this NOW as you are only given a small timeframe in which to prove through tracking that you shipped the item back. If the number you supplied shows no movement through tracking by the day after your deadline to ship the seller can call ebay and have the case closed in his favor~~meaning you get NO refund and he gets his item back. Once the case is closed I don't believe you can go back and correct the tracking number. You will have lost your chance of a refund.

The case not closed yet, and the item is still on its way back to the seller.
So i will first call ebay to see if they can fix the tracking number. Would this fix it?
Does ebay refund me, or the seller?
( I used paypal for the payment )
