Help! Is seller lying to me?

On April 19th I purchased an item, the item was not shipped, by the 28th, so I contacted the seller. They told me they'll ship the item on the 29th, if all goes to plan. On the 30th I asked if they were able to ship the item. The 30th is also the date of the estimated delivery. This morning they said they left the item for their mail lady to pickup, if all goes to plan. They also indicated that my purchase was shipped. No tracking number was uploaded, so I asked if they had one, the seller stated that he'll have to get it from home on Monday, and he's out of town till then.

I know sellers have no obligation to provide a tracking number. That's fine, the reason I'm concerned, the seller has a 96% positive,but there are 2 negative reviews from buyers claiming they never received their package.

Open a return for 'not received' in the resolution center 1 day past the day item is due to deliver. Seller seems to be playing games 'if all goes to plan'.

@orlalde0 you're on fair ground for an INR (Item Not Received) case. You have 30 days from when the item was marked as delivered to open one.

Just my opinion here, I would check with the seller to see an estimated delivery date. If it does not come within the day the seller specified open an INR.

It states in the op that the estimated delivery date was April 30th so they should be able to open an inr today.

If the last estimated delivery date was April 30th, you should be able to open an item not received case today.

Tracking protects the seller, not the buyer.

The buyer has the MBG.  Would suggest you read it.

yeah you might have gotten scammed. I learned to always look at the feedback from getting scammed too.

You DO NOT open a return when the item was not received.

You open an ITEM NOT RECEIVED CASE within 30 days of the last estimated delivery date.
