Handling Fees for Returns

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to create a listing where you can charge a handle fee for returns?  I used to have a restocking fee for returns to recoup my shipping charges but now since that has been taken away I am unaware of what to do.  Perhaps I should not offer returns.  Any thoughts on a work around would be appreciated!

That would help but a buyer that knows how to scam the system will just file SNAD and you will refund all they paid.

You can't.  Just build it into the price of your item or shipping cost.

That does NOT mean the buyer is trying to "scam" the system.  Most buyers are good customers it is only a fraction of buyers that are not.  People don't come here to buy stuff just to get it and return it.  Well not most people anyway.

Offering a No Return policy on Ebay does very little for the seller.  The seller has to adhere to the MBG, so if the buyer files a SNAD, the seller will have to honor it.

You should not do that, it would get you in trouble with Ebay and it isn't anything you can enforce.  Unless you offer 30 day returns with seller pays shipping, you can't do a partial refund on a SNAD.

If you do 30 day returns with buyer pays shipping, then if it is a buyer's remorse request, you can have the buyer pay return shipping and if you separately state shipping on the item purchased, then when refunding you can reduce it by the original S&H amount.  On SNADs seller will always pay return shipping.
