Ground Advantage Transitioned Automatically For Me, Anyone Else?

I just sold a shirt a few minutes ago that i still had under the First Class Category (I Hadn't Got Around To Converting it to Ground Advantage Yet) And when i went to print the label it was already in the Ground Advantage Category, so my question is do i still have to go and manually change all of my First Class items To GA or is it just going to convert it to GA for me when i go to print the label like it just did?

The Shipping team is in the process of updating Ground Advantage service name and rates in listing flows, we expect updates to be completed over the next day. In the meantime you may experience the following in listing flows:

"Service nameShipping service reflected as Parcel Select Ground/Ground Advantage. If you select Parcel Select Ground/Ground Advantage shipping service, the service name will automatically be updated to Ground Advantage once the Shipping updates are completed over the next day. No further action will be required by you.RatesGround Advantage retail rates are currently being updated from Parcel Select rates in listing flows and will be updated to Ground Advantage retail rates over the next day. Calculated shipping quotes in active listings have been updated to Ground Advantage rates."

Yes, you do have to update all of your listings that offer First Class postage.  The eBay announcement clearly stated that labels would transition immediately and that sellers have 30 days to update their listings. After that deadline, the listings will show no service available.

Sellers who had set up their listings with Parcel Select might be surprised that the listings now show retail rates rather than online rates (if their site preferences are still set to the default of offering retail prices).

@nobody*s_perfect  could you provide a link or point me to the ebay announcement that said after 30 days they would have listings show No Service Available?  I missed that one and cannot find it anywhere.
I would be very appreciative of the direction on that.

Thanks! 🙂

Sorry, I didn't bookmark it because it just seemed like the logical option/outcome.  "Shipping not specified" is what currently shows up whenever the shipping calculator just can't, so I expect that's what will show. I can't imagine what else it might be.

eBay's July 10 Announcement does give sellers more than 30 days to implement the update, albeit vaguely: "We are asking sellers to update listings to Ground Advantage over the next 30 days to ensure buyers see the most accurate shipping details. We realize this may take longer for some sellers and we will continue to support First-Class on existing listings for a longer period of time. We will update you as more information becomes available."

I did update all of my first class services to ground advantage using bulk edit on the desktop when we were first told to do so.

My fix has been working, as far as I saw on the desktop.

But working on my phone this morning, the service on the couple of listings I worked on have reverted to first class!

Anyone know what's up with the mobile app?

I think they are maybe working on it, they pulled back on that aug 9th deadline as its been a firestorm against them for not doing it. Other platforms automatically did no reason why ebay can't. Lets see what happens because when you have thousands in inventory and every item is different and involves different configurations, there is just no way. And yes bulk will not work nor will buis policy's.
