I just sold an item and the buyer is asking me how much it is to ship to Spain before he has paid for it. I selected the Global shipping program exclusively as the option to ship globally. Should'nt the buyer be able to see how much to pay on his end? I have no way of knowing on my end what the program will charge him. Please Advise, Thanks, Kelly

You're right. And ebay has probably already contacted them with the info.
I usually write back and tell than that we ship to ebay and ebay ships to them and that we have nothing to do with any shipping charges.

Is this for the Indiana Jones game? There is no shipping cost to Spain on that listing so for some reason the gsp has excluded them for this listing. You can either give the buyer a price for shipping directly to them using first class international delcon or tell the buyer that you don't ship to Spain and ask them if they have a US address. If they don't, you can cancel the transaction using problem with address.
I don't use the gsp so I don't know for sure that this would work when the gsp excludes countries but if you go to site preferences - buyer requirements and check off 'block buyers with primary addresses in countries that I don't ship to' that should stop this from happening in the future. Is there someone who can confirm that works with gsp as well?

I called the help desk and they said that the buyer changed their shipping address in order to be able to make the purchase and then changed it back wanting me to ship to Spain even though GSP does not ship to that country. GSP would have blocked the purchase for the correct address. The buyer understood when I cancelled the order. Thanks for your responses to my question.
