Hello, so I have sold two items this week that are going to the same address and apparently it’s a DHL global shipping company. It’s address is 15617 NE airport way and it’s in Portland, Oregon. Has anyone shipped here and not had any problems? I have received payment and one of them has already transferred to the bank, I am supposed to ship one out today but wanted to be careful in case this is a scam. But I’m also thinking if the money is already in my bank account then there’s no way they can get it back right? Think I’ll be okay shipping out? Thank you.

Yes, I shipped 6 items in the last month Portland, Chinese buyers. No problems at all.

Forwarders are common and 99% of the time, not a problem. Your 'comment' about "$ in the bank" though, is wrong. All buyers have 30 day MBG- so they will put a hold on that money if there's a return for refund, even 29 days later (all sales, going anywhere- this can be done)

...........general reply.............
I love the reshippers.I ship to them at least 5 times a week.I feel sorry for all of the California reshippers though, ever since the tax started getting collected in Ca for the Asian buyers its been goodbye to all of them, every single one of my old buyers uses portland and the other one up there.
I just have to say,the top left hand corner of the USA is where my money comes from, the buyers using the reshippers come back again and again and are solid buyers

The Post Office is not working to good overseas, if at all so many buyers are using other shippers.

does freight forwarding like this invalidate the MBG?

if your selling to a reshipper (forwarder), the international shipping is their problem, not yours. Your contract ends the moment the item is delivered to the specified destination point at the reshipper.

I shipped there over a month ago. I told the buyer I would not ship to China and she said she had a friend in Portland OR which ended up being DHL. Much later she said the item was broken but didn't mention DHL shipped it from Oregon to China. Not sure what to do.

What if you don’t accept returns how does that work? This was my first time
selling so wasn’t 100% sure what I was doing and I guess I said no returns. Is their still and on your money? I know I have one until the buyer receives it but it there still a hold for 30
days after that?

Shipped there many times, as far as I can see, there have been no issues at all with buyers using this location.

I can answer that for you.
No, shipping to a freight forwarder doesn't invalidate MBG. The seller is protected from not received cases as long as that's the address eBay provided. Items that are forwarded after original delivery are not covered by MBG but buyers can still open not as described cases and eBay can force you to accept the return because can say there's no proof it was forwarded.
What a seller needs to do is message the buyer and ask them to confirm the delivery address in Oregon is their reshipper's address and their reshipper will forward it to them after they receive it.

Not necessarily true. It's supposed to be like that but sellers have reported that they had to accept a return after it was delivered to a freight forwarder because the buyer claimed they had it delivered as a gift to a family member and it was their work address. That's why the seller needs to get the buyer to confirm it will be reshipped.
