Over the past two months, I've purchased two items from separate eBay UK sellers. Both sellers used eBay's Global Shipping Program to ship the items. After each package made it to the USA, the tracking continued to update for several days. In each case, the items made it to a shipping partner facility in Shelton, CT where the tracking information stopped updating.
Here are the last shipping updates:
Package 1:
Package 2:
Package 1 was officially declared lost by eBay. Package 2 has just missed the expected delivery date. In both cases, these packages became "lost" after being handed off to eBay's GSP shipper, Newgistics. As a company, Newgistics takes no accountability for the mishandling of packages. They offer no customer support; instead, they tell consumers to "contact the retailer from which you ordered." I contacted eBay and their customer support and they said they have no interaction with Newgistics; they said they could only send them an email. I do not understand how eBay can deal with this company.
Has anyone else experienced similar problems with eBay's GSP?

I have also had an issue with them. They have lost two packages and are impossible to contact. eBay needs to sever ties with them.
