Global Shipping Center

I have sold globally for years with the Global Shipping Service. The last 3 sales were last week. One in Canada and two to Australia. The Global Shipping center sent one invoice to one buyer in Australia and that was fine, no problems and shipped out fine to the Global Shipping Center. The other two buyers did not receive any invoices from Global Shipping and I know things are bad now but did they stop operations at the Global Shipping Center?

I do not ship directly overseas other than the Global Shipping Center. I had to cancel one sale and now I think that I will have to cancel another sale.

If they are not operating in the Global Shipping Center they should send out a notice of some sort? 

Does anyone know what is going on??

Global Shipping says: 

 

"Send it to the US shipping center, and the rest will be taken care of for you"

I just sold an item with the Program. What do I do next?
When a GSP item sells you simply ship the item to the Global Shipping Center in Kentucky. The GSP takes care of the rest. This includes filling out customs forms, paying import fees, and providing international shipping to your buyer. The GSP also includes end-to-end international tracking so you can stay up to date throughout the process. You should also upload your domestic tracking number to the order, and include the GSP reference number on your domestic shipping label.
As a seller your responsibility ends once the item reaches the Global Shipping Center. If the item is lost or damaged during international transit, the Program has you covered. Sellers are also protected from neutral or negative feedback associated with international shipping on any GSP transaction.

 

Does anybody know what is going on with Global Shipping Service?  Did Covid-19 shut it down?

I had the same problem with a shipment to Canada on 4/25/2020...The buyer couldn't even contact me. There is something wrong and ebay needs to make it right.

You are absolutely correct. Unless you are in the United States and have been enrolled in the Global Shipping Program for years, then people have no idea what is going on... There is a problem with the Global Shipping Program that nobody seems to address. This started back in March of this year and I have had to cancel a lot of Global Sales because of Global Shipping not sending the buyer an invoice and having the buyer ask the seller for a total. Global Sales is supposed to send the invoice to prevent this and the same goes for a U.S. seller wanting to send an invoice to overseas buyers. For those of us sellers that ONLY ship overseas with this program, it is a mess and a loss of sales. I had to opt out of this program because of this issue. Ebay developed this program to take out the hassles of doing all of the paperwork for sellers, now it is a broken system. Until they fix this problem, it remains useless for U.S. sellers wanting to sell overseas.☹️
