Old subject im guessing but i have a parcel stuck at Glendale Heights ..... supposed to be coming to me in the UK but got to this Glendale Heights then silence for 11 days .........

What's the item? Some take longer to process if high value or if hazmat (batteries, etc) as there are extra steps in the review process, paperwork, etc.
Some items can't be forwarded and if that happens you'll be notified.
Packages generally don't just stop moving though. Wait it out to see what happens, and if the item does not arrive by the tail end of the estimated delivery window you will be able to file a non-receipt claim.

Glendale Heights is unfortunately a major bottleneck, and my experience with packages moving through there is the same as yours. It can take 1-2 weeks for the package to eventually make its way to an outbound plane.
ParcelsApp.com is good at following complicated outbound (or inbound) trips that involve handoffs from one carrier to another, such as in your case. You might want to try your tracking number on their site and see if there are any more details to be seen (yet).
